UBM Care Show promotion
Here is an example of a very cost efficient way for organisers of trade shows and exhibitions to promote their services. At the Care Show at Olympia, we struck a deal with UBM to allow us to film at the show for a nominal sum and our profit came from selling shorter web-content videos to the exhibitors there. It was a win-win-win situation. The organisers got a professionally produced promtional video which they could use to sell space for the following year’s event. The exhibitors got very low cost videos promoting their respective videos. And we got exclusive access to those exhibitors wanting those videos.
It was all shot on a Sony EX3 and edited in FCP7. The cost to the exhibitors for their edited videos ranged between £150-£300. You can’t really argue with that I think.
